Comanzi simultan forțele Popoarelor Libere și armata Umbrei, prinse într-un cerc strategic de conflicte. Popoarele tale Libere se confruntă cu Umbra jucătorului din stânga, iar Umbra ta atacă Popoarele Libere ale jucătorului din dreapta. Echilibrul este fragil. Deciziile – fatale. Doi armate. Un singur minte. Cu fiecare aruncare a zarurilor decizi cum să folosești rezultatele. Vei chema eroi emblematici în slujba Popoarelor Libere? Sau vei aduna trupele din Mordor pentru o bătălie decisivă? Vei trimite Nazgûlii să urmărească Frăția inamicului… sau vei muta secret Frăția ta, departe de Ochiul atotvăzător al lui Sauron? Drumul către victorie Ca Popoare Libere câștigi dacă Frăția ajunge la Muntele Destinului sau dacă învingi Umbra în luptă. Ca Umbra, scopul este nemilos – să corupi complet Frăția sau să o distrugi pe câmpul de luptă. La finalul jocului punctele se adună, iar strategul cu cel mai mare scor iese învingător. Tensiune epică într-un format compact Circle of Conflict redă drama și dilema morală a lumii create de Tolkien într-un joc de masă dinamic și tensionat. Aici fiecare decizie are două fețe – luminoasă și întunecată – iar tu trebuie să le conduci pe ambele. Pământul de Mijloc este pe margine. Vei aduce speranță… sau vei grăbi căderea sa? In The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict, you simultaneously command both The Shadow and The Free Peoples armies
your Free Peoples will fight the Shadow of the opponent to your left, and your Shadow will fight the Free Peoples of the opponent to your right. As the dice are rolled, you will decide how to apply the results. Will you recruit iconic characters for The Free Peoples or perhaps muster the troops of Mordor to fight for The Shadow in one of two pivotal battles? Will you hunt your opponent’s Fellowship with your Nazgûl or secretly move your Fellowship to evade Sauron’s watchful Eye? To win as The Free Peoples, get The Fellowship to reach Mount Doom or defeat The Shadow in battle. As The Shadow, you must fully corrupt The Fellowship or defeat them in battle. When all the victory points have been tallied, the player with the most points wins!
