În jocul The Adventures of Robin Hood, jucătorii intră în rolurile lui Robin Hood și ale tovarășilor săi, acțiunea desfășurându-se pe o tablă de joc fără trasee prestabilite. Tabla se schimbă pe parcursul fiecărei aventuri, iar mișcarea personajelor este controlată printr-un mecanism inovator care folosește piese din lemn de diferite lungimi. Diverse acțiuni și secrete sunt integrate în nivelurile jocului și sunt dezvăluite doar pe parcursul poveștii. Tabla de joc „ține minte” ceea ce jucătorii au explorat sau descoperit deja. În loc să folosească cărți, așa cum se întâmplă în Legends of Andor, jocul spune povestea lui Robin Hood într-o carte frumoasă cu copertă tare, iar în funcție de deciziile pe care le iau jucătorii, povestea se schimbă. The board changes over the course of each adventure, and the movement of the characters is handled via an innovative mechanism that uses different length wooden character pieces. Various actions and secrets are integrated into the game levels and are revealed only in the course of the story. The game board remembers what players have already explored or found, and thanks to the special materials, the entire game can be set up and dismantled quickly. Instead of using cards as in the author's Legends of Andor, the game tells the story of Robin Hood in a high-quality hardcover book, and depending on the decisions the players make, the story changes...
