În timpul domniei lui Friedrich al II-lea, un conducător cu o minte sclipitoare, cunoscut ca Stupor Mundi (latină pentru „minunea lumii”), a înflorit un imperiu plin de glorie, cultură și putere. El este considerat primul conducător modern al Europei, nu în ultimul rând datorită structurii administrative eficiente a regatului său. În jocul de strategie de masă Stupor Mundi, jucătorii intră în rolul apropiaților lui Friedrich al II-lea, care construiesc propriile castele, antrenează specialiști și emit edicte care au un impact direct asupra palatului lui Friedrich. Jocul se desfășoară în mai multe runde, fiecare constând dintr-o fază de acțiune și o fază finală. În faza de acțiune, jucătorii călătoresc către noi locații cu nava lor și joacă cărți de acțiune, pe care le pot folosi pentru a executa acțiunea cărții sau una dintre cele două acțiuni principale adiacente de pe tabla lor de joc. Urmează faza finală, în care jucătorii trag cărți și primesc venituri din castelul și aliații lor. Jucătorul cu cele mai multe puncte de victorie câștigă jocul. Informații de la editor: Under the reign of Frederick II, a ruler with a brilliant mind who was known as Stupor Mundi (Latin for “the wonder of the world”), an empire full of glory, culture and power flourished. He was regarded as the first modern ruler of Europe, not least because of the efficient administrative structure of his kingdom. In the strategic expert game Stupor Mundi, players take on the roles of Frederick II's henchmen who build their own castles, train specialists and issue edicts that have a direct impact on Frederick’s palace. A game is played over several rounds, each consisting of an action phase and a final phase. In the action phase, the players travel to new locations with their ship and play action cards, which they can use to perform either the card action or one of the two adjacent main actions on their game board. This is followed by the final phase, in which the players draw cards and receive income from their castle and allies. The player with the most victory points wins the game.
